no looking back...
Phoenix had his first "official" day at Rainbow today.
After we dropped Willik, we trekked over to the preschool. I basically will be driving in a triangle pattern everyday. It's not very distant, but it can be "trafficky".
It wasn't too bad today, as made it there later than most kids, since Willik's schedule was still different, but that wasn't a big deal.
Once we made it to the classroom, Phoenix and I looked for his cubby, which he identified on his own, once I told him to look for a P and X.
He asked a couple times for "Buzz Lightyear" which he had played alot with while he was at the school during the summer, but "Buzz" just wasn't around this fall.
We hung his jacket up, and while I was still putting his backpack on the hook, he was already saying "hi" to Ms. Sarah, and sitting down on the carpet.
He was totally fine, and never looked back to see where I was, or if I was still there. If it wasn't for me going over to get a kiss before leaving, he would never even have noticed that he was on his own.
Unfortunately, he did have "an accident" and only fell asleep once that mess was over, but other than that, I think he had a good day.
