23 wires and a starving toddler

Phoenix has had 2 seizures, within about 4 months of each other. The first one was attributed to a high fever. But when he had a 2nd one, on a day when he wasn't sick, and we were playing at the park, we decided that maybe we needed to check this out further.
After being seen by a neurologist, she recommended we get an EEG, although she didn't think he had seizures disorder, but this way, we would all be at peace.
The last seizure was in July, and ever since then, I've been trying to schedule that EEG at a hospital recommended by the doctor. Yup, it's taken that long, but we finally got it done yesterday.

For a quick definition:
EEG (electroencephalogram) - a test that measures the electrical activity in the brain, called brain waves. An EEG measures brain waves through small button electrodes that are placed on your child's scalp

Anyway, getting a 2 year-old to have this done is somewhat traumatic for a parent, I must say. Phoenix won't remember much, if any of this. We had to starve him, because he's wasn't allowed to eat before the exam, since he was being sedated. He was asleep when the actual exam took place, but before he was even checked out by a pediatrician on shift, he was begging for chocolate milk, and for dinosaur chicken nuggets. He was crying, and Fabio and I felt so bad. All we could tell him is that we'd give it to him later.
Anyway, a few hours later, 23 head wires, a few other wires to monitor heart rate, respiration, blood pressure and a few arm nerves, he woke up groggy, happy, and ready to have his chocolate milk.
I'm glad it's over, and hopefully in a couple weeks, when we get the results, we'll have nothing more to worry about.
Thanks for those who've been praying for us since the last seizure. We felt God with us for sure during the whole process!

Unfortunately, the room we were in was too dark for me to get any pictures of Phoenix during the exam, so here's a picture of a boy, I found online. The only difference is that Phoenix was asleep, and he was laying by himself on the hospital bed.
