throwing a party

We had a little get together for Fabio's birthday. We mostly invited church friends who are young and don't have family members around.
It felt so good to make all the preparations for the party, get nice square plates, make lots of goodies, and know that people were coming over to celebrate the love of my life.
It felt good to have made somce good progress on our often cluttered house.
It was great to have "shiped the boys off" for 24 hours[thanks mom and dad!], and be allowed to finish conversations, but much more joyous, just being able to finish a sentence, with any other adult. Especially those friends from church whom we only catch a glimpse of, here and there, as we try to corral our boys.
A good time was had by all, especialy those who enjoyed a bit of dancing pad fun, with the playstation and the ddrmax2! "It's a new record!!"
Now that I have the entertaining bug in me, there's no telling when the next get-together might be! As soon as I clean up all the dishes, finish all the leftovers, and secure some babysitters again.
Thanks to all that came, sorry to all that missed it, and apologies for all that J-train madness!

Thanks, amor, for all the planning. I loved the party and I was very happy to be able to spend time with plenty of people, dancing up a storm.

Wow, sounds like you had a great time! Dancing and all too. Maybe you should bring that dancing pad down on your next vacation. :)
