when they are sleeping...

they aren't fighting.
That's right. They fight nonstop, during all their waking hours. And from what I've been told by some wise mothers of more grown-up boys, it's not gonna stop.
That means there are at least about 13-14 more years of this.
If it's not shoving, it's very loud screaming, or punching, or teasing, or whatever other ways they can think of, to torture one another.
And if it's not that, they are just telling me "NO!" and attempting to ignore me or disrespect me.
It's pretty tough these days, and I've just been feeling pretty much like a failure in the "mommy department".
This is not a pity-party post. It's a "pray for my sanity post".
And pray for some wisdom while you're at it. Thanks.

Oh, boy. Those sleeping hours are the best. I have no idea how to get them to cooperate with each other. We get some 1 or 2 minute glimpses of them being nice for each other, but that either ends right in front of us or the moment we leave the room.

Ummm... my sister and I fought the whole time too :( Sorry, I have no hope to offer you LOL!

On another note, I will be in NYC at the beginning of May with my mother and sister. Do you have recommendations for things not to miss that are off the regular tour-book circuit?
