I painted, I painted
For the last 2 days I've been painting a wall. But actually, I've been painting a mural on a wall.
Graffiti 2 is a new ministry that my church has just helped start.
They are up in the Motthaven section of the South Bronx.
Anyway, Andrew, the director, was going to be having a work team there, and he asked me if I could design and paint a mural at the new site. I said yes right away.
Most of the work team was cleaning up and renovating, while myself and 3 other senior ladies helped me paint.
Much kudos goes to Fabio, for making the sacrifice of waking up early, and watching Phoenix, so that I could go do this.
It feels great to have been painting for 2 days. I'm so thankfu thatl I was able to use my talents and my love of art for God's glory! Yeah!!!
See the tiny [cell phone] picture below, and let me know what you think.
And if you want, I can take you to see it and Graffiti 2!

Hey beauty. You know I'm happy when you get to do something you love. You need more breaks from the kids like that.

I wish I could take you up on your offer to go and see this mural in person however I will find my joy in adding Amen to you words, "It feels great to have been painting for 2 days. I'm so thankfu thatl I was able to use my talents and my love of art for God's glory!"
These beautiful, convicting and inspiring words may bless you {from three translations}
"In the handiwork of their craft is their prayer." [Sirach 38:34]
"But they keep stable the fabric of the world, and their prayer is in the practice of their trade." [Eccesiasticus 38:34 - RSV]
"But they shall strengthen the state of the world, and their prayer shall be in the work of their craft, applying their soul, and searching in the law of the most High." [Eccesiasticus 38:34 Douay-Rheims Bible]
